Matt Buckland

Matt is a husband to Anna and a father to Bear and Emma. His leadership behind a guitar sets a fertile environment for people to engage in true worship of Jesus. The Lord has set a purpose in his life of “ Worshiping the one true King and bringing others along with him”, Matt aims to live this out on stage and off.

Matt, A native of the foothills of North Carolina, has grown up in the church. From a very young age, he was behind sound consoles, lighting consoles, guitars, drum kits and microphones. The Lord called Matt into ministry at the early age of 13 years old at a youth camp a lot like Crossroads Summer Camp. From there, Matt knew that he had to step into serving with the tools and gifts that the Lord had naturally gifted him with! Over the years, Matt has been a part of many worship teams throughout the Carolinas including Elevation Worship, NewSpring Worship and most recently, CKM Worship.

Matt has been serving for the past 10 years as a Worship Pastor at NewSpring Church in South Carolina and has recently stepped into a Full Time staff role with Clayton King Ministries to live out the God given call to “Worship the one true King and bring others along with him”!
