Clayton, I could not agree more.

I am no pastor but felt similar as you described above by a congregation of a church I attended for 15 years. I was 20 years old and my soon to be wife became pregnant. We were married and had our first wonderful child several months later. The large congregation I had grown up with and been heavily involved. Youth camps, retreats, sunday school, wednesday night dinner, and youth week minister on two different occasion. I knew everybody is what I am trying to say!! When we became pregnant it was like I had died or cease to exist. No longer did the church I loved care to call me there own. Nobody called and nobody came by the house to reach out to thier feloow christian in need. I quit church and God then. I felt that if this is how christians treat each other then I dont need them. I for one believe we should always be there to extend a hand to our fellow fallen Christians. We should lift them up and help not condemn.
